Case Study: Delivery of new train project

Under pressure to deliver new train projects, this rail client required agency support to attract, recruit and onboard a high volume of PI and Maintenance contractors across all UK depots, in order to meet Test, Post-Production and Modification demands.

Working in partnership with the client, TXM Recruit created
a bespoke, time-bound recruitment solution which reflected the client’s employer brand, culture, values and business needs. Prioritising critical roles, TXM Recruit’s dedicated account team strategically planned a series of recruitment days, hosting candidate interviews and technical competency-based
assessments.

TXM Recruit ensured all contractors had an approved medical D&A certificate and TXM branded PPE before going onsite.

Successful in the delivery of this project, TXM Recruit continues to support this rail client in the delivery of key manufacturing and maintenance projects, providing key, skilled resource across all UK depots.

Case Study: Supporting transition of new fleet

Supporting the manufacture and launch of a new fleet, this rail client required a dedicated engineering recruitment agency to place both contract and permanent employees for the project.

TXM Recruit had previously provided recruitment support on various modifications and upgrades for the fleet in service and continued to support the team prior to the launch of the new fleet. This involved a dedicated rail account team attending depot site visits and supporting all engineering and production requirements.

As the fleet transition began, TXM Recruit placed a variety of technical candidates, including senior roles and fixed-term contract roles for crucial short-term posts due to increased workload.

The client successfully launched the first of their new fleet in January 2020. TXM Recruit continues to support the client’s business growth and presence across the UK and is now providing global support on their fleet manufacturing within Switzerland, the Netherlands, and USA.
