Reporting To: Manager, Quality Control
Work Schedule: Mon – Thu (7.30am – 4pm) & Fri (7.30am – 1pm)
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join a prestigious Quality Control team based in Tewskesbury for a leading UK Aerospace Manufacturer. This is a crucial role supporting manufacturing processes by ensuring the quality and precision of both internally produced and supply chain products. You will be responsible for conducting inspections and supporting the Quality Team in maintaining manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections using Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS systems.
- Collaborate with the Quality Team to enhance manufacturing processes.
- GD&T Standards and provide technical support for new product introductions (NPI).
- Support lean initiatives and cost reduction activities.
- Perform Manual inspections using hand tools and vision systems.
- Nonconformance report writing
- HNC/HND in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inspection with CMMs.
- Zeiss Calypso and PC-DMIS
- Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels.
- Aerospace or Motorsport experience is a plus.
