Location: Great Knollys Street, Reading, RG1 7HH
Hours: Various Shift available
Reporting to: Engineering Manager.
We are seeking self-motivated individuals with a passion for the fast-paced and dynamic bus industry. If this sounds like you, come join us at Reading Buses. We are looking for PSV/HGV Technicians to join our Engineering team.
Contract role outside of IR35, £30ltd per hour, heavy vehicle or rolling stock experience, mechanically biased, various shift patterns
PSV Technician Duties:
- Inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our buses.
- Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.
- Recording faults and the work performed to fix them using a tablet.
- Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.
PSV Technician Skills:
- Technically adept
- Mechanical knowledge of PSV/HGVs or heavy vehicles
- Experience of the Reading Transport environment
- Hold a full PCV licence
- NVQ3 Qualification or equivalent
