Location: Midlands - Burton-on-Trent
Competitive Salary Are you a skilled Plant Engineer ready to hit the ground running? Do you have a passion for working with heavy-duty equipment, conveyors, gearboxes, and welding? If so, we want YOU to join our clients expert team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) & reactive maintenance
- Servicing, diagnosing & repairing fixed and mobile plant
- Working with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, welding (MIG preferred), ARC welding & gas cutting
- Keeping operations running smoothly in a fast-paced waste management environment
- Experience as a Plant Engineer or Fitter
- Candidate need to be comfortable working in an environment with waste, dirt, dust etc.
- Strong mechanical background in heavy-duty equipment & plant maintenance
- Ability to diagnose faults & carry out repairs to dealer specs
- Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and commercial vehicle systems (advantageous)
- Team player with a can-do attitude and strong problem-solving skills
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Late Shift: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM (Monday – Friday)
Overtime paid at 1.5, 2.0 Sundays
