As a reliability engineer, you will be responsible for our clients rolling stock fleet providing technical expertise. This may include the creation, maintenance and management of fleet specific growth plans whilst analysing data to ensure our clients targets are achieved.
Key Duties for the role of Reliability Engineer:
- Drive technical reliability analysis and associated reporting
- Provide report summaries of incidents counts, and provide analysis of data used for reliability and quality metrics
- Drive development and implementation of fleet / system reliability growth plans to meet technical and contractual targets on fleet performance
- Support technical / reliability review meetings
- Implement fleet specific Reliability and Product Improvement Plans, ensuring it is harmonised with all departments and is compliant with Quality/ISO certifications
- Support Through-Life-Care model within our client and the Group to enhance reliability and performance through our relevant products.
- To undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required
- Engineering qualification HNC / HND / Degree
- Previous experience and a proven track-record of successful Fleet / technical engineering / reliability in the rail industry on modern passenger fleets.
- Sound understanding of: Modern train systems, FRACAS, Cost Benefit Analysis, FTA methodologies. Concepts for compliance with safety and reliability requirements.
