Our client is looking for a skilled Installation Design Engineer to join their Fleet Projects team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing orders, confirming Bills of Materials (BOMs), and preparing installation design documentation for advanced vehicle systems. You will collaborate closely with vehicle builders, clients, and internal teams to ensure that all installations are reliable, user-friendly, and easy to maintain.

Key Responsibilities
- Review new and repeat orders to confirm documentation requirements.
- Design wiring diagrams and installation process documents.
- Ensure that components and terminations align with system designs.
- Collaborate with Project Engineers and the Installations Manager to finalize BOMs and labour needs.
- Work with the warehouse team to prepare stock for installation.
- Support homologation and certification processes by supplying required documentation.
- Electrical and vehicle wiring knowledge to understand system requirements.
- Experience using Visio, CAD, or other technical drawing software (preferred but not essential).
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel.
- A detail-oriented individual with excellent numeracy skills.
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
