The job will cover general weekly, monthly and quarterly checks, planned and unplanned maintenance duties as well as general fabric checks around the facility.
- Schedule - Monday to Friday 40 hours
- Working hours – 6am to 2.30pm // 9.30am – 6pm (rotate weekly)
- On Call – 1 in 3 weeks on call Maximum. – This is for emergencies only.
- Salary - £37,834
- Location – Thameside, Southeast London.
Your duties will be yet not limited to
- Weekly, monthly and 3 monthly checks including Legionella, Fire alarms, Emergency doors, Emergency lights & Loading Bay doors and gates
- Yard inspections
- Resets to fire alarms and sprinklers if they are turned on
- General maintenance around the facility, basic electrics like sockets and switches, basic plumbing like changing pipes and fixing taps, minor decorating.
- You will ensure that the site is kept safe and clean and accurate records are kept up to date, as well as maintaining a high standard of work by following safe working practices.
Requirements
- Full UK License – 6 points max.
- Basic Facilities / Maintenance experience
- A recognized apprenticeship or qualifications (City and Guilds, BTEC, NVQ etc)
