Are you a Project Manager in Change and looking for your next role in Rail? Then keep reading! You will be responsible for the management and implementation of the client changes and where required support the Project Team in the execution of obligations.

Location: London, Ludgate. (2/3 days in the office wit the option to work from home)
Pay: £719 daily rate. This role is inside IR35 so you will need to be paid umbrella or PAYE.

Job Details.

• Apply a robust and methodical approach to project change management, demonstrating reduction in project exposure to change through active mitigation of threats and maximising of opportunities

• Use knowledge and experience gained on large programmes of work to ensure effective identification and management of all significant changes (aligned to achievement of objectives) including interfaces with other programmes and projects)

• Facilitate internal and external change workshops

• Manage, with the projects finance controller and project stakeholders, the overall project change management process ensuring consistency with the WBS approach

• Ensure that change management gateway and board reviews are incorporated within delivery programmes, and implemented effectively

• Provide advice, tools and methodologies to support the successful management of change

• Facilitate and chair Programme/Project Change Control Boards and Reviews; structuring the decision making and documenting decisions on behalf of the project team

• Manage each change through the change process from initial change proposal, through industrialisation and into implementation.

• Ensure that the impact of any change is assessed for the whole project life cycle including the Maintenance phase

• Ensure that all Trains and Equipment are captured within the process and through the implementation of each modification.

• Be able to demonstrate the correct configuration for all trains, equipment and software at any point in the process.

• Where software is updated ensure that any contractual Escrow requirements are fulfilled

• Define the business requirements and project processes for change management.

• Develop and provide KPI’s as required to communicate the status of change across the project

• Produce change management templates/processes to support the project team in delivering their obligations

• Support to the implementation and deployment of required process and procedures in accordance with direction from the Project Management Office

• Provide advice, tools and methodologies to support the successful management of change across the project.

• Support the project team with the delivery of MSA obligations as required.

• Identifying, addressing and resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups

• Managing stakeholders, taking account of their levels of influence and particular interestsect teams, Senior Management and external stakeholders as required through the portfolio governance schedule
