Location: London Ludgate for 2/3 days per week.
Pay: £719 umbrella rate or can go paye as the role is inside ir35.
• Lead and motivate the project’s core team to deliver all MSA/project requirements.
• Steer the project to deliver in line with the rail expectations and targets.
• Day to day management of the customer/client and any associated stakeholder groups
• Management, empowerment, organisation and governance of the multiskilled cross functional core team
• Accountable for scope of project delivery in accordance with GBMS processes, procedures and project specific processes and plans
• Maximise gross margin and overall profitability through efficient delivery
• Implement strategic guidelines as proposed by the Head of Programme
• Definition of a delivery-driven project plan with the core team planner – both internal and client facing outputs (IMP/CIP)
• Validation of the cash-in and invoice plan
• Setting priorities and defining key focus areas
• Being attentive to project stage changing dynamics in core team and commercial and delivery strategies to keep delivery on track and manage conflict
• Planning the PM deliverables and defining the PM work packages for project control
• Responsible for managing the PM scope of work within agreed project parameters (i.e. time, quality, cost)
• Ensuring quality-driven functional deliverables
• Management and reporting on project KPIs
• Validation of project handover dossier (from Sales Team)
• Completion of project launch with full core team input, boundary setting, strategy and comms
• The management and validation of impacts of any project variations with the commercial and finance teams
• Escalations of project critical issues and lessons learned dissemination
• Define and then monitor all stage gate progress in line with GBMS throughout the project until handover to OS&M following entry into service
• Validate, manage and communicate any customer/client complaints
• Deliver any project department requirements as requested (i.e. methodology standardisations, continuous improvement, resource balancing)
• Act in a morally, legally and socially appropriate manner in all dealings with external stakeholders and internal project team members as a professional representative of the company.
