TXM is recruiting for a leading automation and intralogistics company, seeking to hire a Project Design Engineer to work across France. The Ideal candidate will have experience working with Intralogistic automated machinery.
This individual will be responsible for the pre-sale duty, speaking with the customer regarding the design and implementation of the machinery. Using Autocad to design the layout of the customer automated facility.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and analyse all technical data and information about the client’s operations neces-sary to understand the project requirements
- Develop technical proposals and associated budgets by selecting appropriate equipment from the company’s products or from suppliers and subcontractors
- Build the technical proposal in collaboration with the sales and internal teams
- Prepare presentations in collaboration with the sales department and present the technical as-pects to the client
- Support and ensure the transition of the project from the study phase to the detailed imple-mentation phase
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint)
- Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- At minimum, proficient in one data analysis tool (Excel, Access, Power BI)
- Proficiency in English, as the role requires frequent communication with the Austrian head-quarters and clients
- Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and design tools (such as VectorWorks, AutoCAD, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of simulation software (Automod, Enterprise Dynamics, etc.)
