As an experience MET you will have a Salary up to £45k per annum subject to skills and experience, with working hours of Monday - Thursday 8.00-4.30p.m. and Friday 8.00 – 4.00 p.m.
As an experienced MET Technician, you must carry out all the necessary mechanical, electrical and body work on allocated jobs. This involves dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop, carrying out inspections, fault-finding and diagnostic work. Then re-assembling the vehicle following strict manufacturer methods with new parts as required to pre-accident condition. There are safety-critical procedures and tooling when handling or working on EV vehicles.
You will be going in as an MET into a company with over 40 years of knowledge and expertise in the industry and are appointed by Manufacturers and Insurance companies. A market leader in equipment to include four-wheel alignment Hunter equipment (Geometry) and ADAS autonomous driving resets / cameras, diagnostics, air-conditioning units and EV tooling.
You must have extended knowledge and skillset to align any vehicle body and chassis and all related suspension components. This includes compliancy in diagnostics, air-conditioning, computer systems and preferably EV Vehicles.
You must have the ability to operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment without compromising the vehicles safety. Attention to detail and accuracy is paramount either working alone or as part of a team.
Clean driving license required for manoeuvring vehicles on site and road tests.
