TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation. They are expanding and are looking for Mechanical Supervisor to join their team located in heart of London on. This position will be based in Dagenham, looking after the daily running of hard services across the London Overground Contract.

Your duties will consist of looking after and making sure the account is up to date with statutory compliance and carrying out surveys for compiling quotations for remedial works and small projects.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out engineers’ appraisals along with account Manager
  • Attend client meetings
  • Supervision/escorting of subcontractors
  • Carrying out surveys for compiling quotations for remedial works and small projects
  • Day to day management of the PPM activities
  • Carry out regular analysis of current PPM regime across the portfolio to identify current trends &
  • patterns to achieve effective & efficient delivery of engineering resource.
  • Helping the reactive helpdesk with information so they can complete activities
  • Completion and management of PPM based risk assessments
  • Management of SHEQ requirements
  • Vetting RAMS and safe systems of work when supervising subcontractors
  • Completion of permit to work documents for subcontractors
  • Chasing progress updates on spares and other procured materials and equipment
  • Form part of a full TFM account delivery and adopt a one team working approach with all other
  • service streams
  • Assist the Account Manager to ensure operational performance is optimised and engineering
  • efficiency is at its maximum
  • Offer guidance and assistance to the site engineering team
  • Deal with engineering issues daily and escalate where required.
 
Qualifications/ Experience
  • Time Served Mechanical / HVAC Supervisor with a good knowledge of plumbing
  • Experience in managing a team of engineers
  • Sentinel card preferred
  • Flexibility to adapt to new challenges
  • CSCS
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience and knowledge on TfL work or Rail preferred
  • L8 Awareness trained (preferable)
  • Low/High Pressure Steam Systems (preferable)
  • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel
