About Us:
Our client is an industry leader in innovative mechanical engineering solutions, who are on the lookout for a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineers to take on a leadership role, driving the design and implementation of complex facility mechanical systems.
As a Lead Mechanical Engineer, you will:
- Design and evaluate process piping and ductwork systems.
- Develop detailed P&ID’s and coordinate complex drawing packages.
- Collaborate with electrical engineers for integrated power systems.
- Lead site visits and support system startups worldwide.
- Mentor and guide less experienced engineers to achieve project goals.
- Worldwide travel will be part of the role up to 30% of the year of which they will be paid for mainly in Poland, Southeast Asia, India, Central Africa.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced AutoCAD skills and experience in piping system fabrication. (AutoCAD 2D & AutoCAD Plant 3D)
- Knowledge of pumps, HVAC, and support equipment.
- Willingness to travel (10-30% per year).
