M&E Engineer
Location: Greater London Area
Salary: £35,131 - £40,400 per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday + 1 in 4 weeks on-call

About the Role:
Are you an experienced M&E Engineer based in or around Greater London? We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our facilities management team. As an M&E Engineer, you'll be the first point of contact for planned and reactive maintenance at your dedicated sites, carrying out a range of mechanical and electrical tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of building services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance across your designated sites.
  • Complete tasks such as emergency light testing, fire alarm checks, lamp changes, basic plumbing, and fabric work.
  • Carry out fault-finding and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Work autonomously, delivering planned maintenance and addressing issues as they arise.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • NVQ in Electrical Installation or Air Conditioning.
  • 18th Edition electrical qualification.
  • HVAC experience.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Practical experience as an M&E Engineer or in a similar maintenance role.
  • Strong communication skills and a solid work ethic.
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations.

Desirable Skills:
  • F-Gas qualification.
  • IOSH Working Safely qualification.
  • Experience in plumbing.
  • Basic fabric maintenance skills.
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection certification.
