Hours: 44 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Are you a skilled Machinist with experience in milling, turning, and operating CNC-controlled machine tools? Join our dynamic team, where you'll contribute to precision machining projects and work with industry-leading equipment in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Machinist, you will:
- Operate and maintain a range of CNC and manual machine tools, including:
- Rottler (F98Y, F79A, F69A)
- Robbi Crank Grinder REX 2200 RM
- Siemens-Gleason Gear Tooth Grinder
- Perform precision tasks such as:
- Reboring and refacing diesel engine blocks.
- Line boring engine block main bearing and camshaft bearing diameters.
- Reboring and sleeving Voith Transmission casings.
- Requalifying diesel engine connecting rods.
- Conduct basic Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) of equipment.
- Utilize metrology equipment for high-precision measurements, including:
- Metric and imperial vernier calipers.
- Internal and external vernier micrometers.
- Digital calipers, dial test indicators, and height gauges.
- Go/No-Go snap and thread gauges.
- Slip gauges.
- Proven experience in milling and turning operations, particularly with CNC-controlled machinery.
- Familiarity with machine tools such as the Rottler series and Robbi Crank Grinder.
- Strong understanding of metrology equipment and techniques for quality assurance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering precision work.
