About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Grinder to join our precision engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in both manual and CNC grinding to work on high-specification components using advanced machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Machine Operation: Setting and operating Manual Studer machines (S20/RM250) and CNC Studer machines (S33/S31).
- Material Expertise: Machining exotic and hardened materials with precision and efficiency.
- Inspection: Conducting 1st-off inspections and completing all necessary quality documentation.
- Precision Work: Performing manual land grinding to achieve exceptional tolerances of 0.00005".
- Efficiency: Setting and running multiple machines/processes to optimize productivity.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in manual and CNC grinding, ideally with Studer machines.
- A strong understanding of precision engineering and the ability to work to ultra-tight tolerances.
- Capability to inspect your own work to ensure the highest quality standards.
- A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence.
