About
An Opportunity has arisen to join one of the most established Formula 1 teams in the country. There is a real forward drive happening with this client, with the winter build well under way. This business is actively recruiting for a skilled and experienced composite laminator that has experience working in the fast-paced motorsport sector. Ideally this client would be looking for an individual that has 5+ years’ experience operating as a composite laminator within a fast-paced formula 1 / motorsport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build manuals
- Laminating and tooling across a broad range of products
- Ensure materials used are as specified and laid up in accordance with lay-up instructions and / or the manuals
- Laminate with good attention to detail
- Vacuum bag parts to a high standard
- Assist as required in all aspects of Production including preparation of moulds and de-moulding
- Complete paperwork to the required standard
Candidate specification
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in the automotive/ motorsport sector
- Good knowledge of laminating processes
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience working for a leading Formula 1 team
- The client is looking for an enthusiastic individual that is looking to build a long-term career with them
- Passionate about motorsport
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to customer requirements
