Shift – Monday to Friday (07:30 – 16:30)
Role – 6 Month Contract
Status – Outside of IR35
Salary - £20 - £22 PH
About
An enticing opportunity has come available with one of the leading motorsport manufacturers in the UK. With this business actively supporting a variety of leading Formula 1 Teams, they are now searching for a skilled composite Laminator. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience operating with Class A components, delivering to agreed delivery dates and will have worked in either the motorsport, automotive or defence sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembling carbon fibre components utilising engineering drawings and build manuals
- Laminating and tooling across a broad range of products
- Ensure materials used are as specified and laid up in accordance with lay-up instructions and / or the manuals
- Laminate with good attention to detail
- Vacuum bag parts to a high standard
- Assist as required in all aspects of Production including preparation of moulds and de-moulding
- Complete paperwork to the required standard
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in the automotive/ motorsport sector
- Good knowledge of laminating processes
- Ideally 2+ years’ experience working for a leading Formula 1 team
