Our client is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Buyer to join their esteemed team. You’ll play a pivotal role in the Heritage and Paint operations, sourcing the highest-quality components and services to keep the legacy thriving. What You’ll Be Doing
As a key part of our team, you will:
- Procure excellence: Source components and services with a focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery.
- Drive relationships: Build strong supplier partnerships and handle negotiations to secure the best terms.
- Ensure compliance: Maintain purchase records, oversee supplier audits, and manage non-conformance issues seamlessly.
- Collaborate and innovate: Work closely with production and engineering teams to meet operational needs while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Handle contracts: Lead tender processes and create new supplier agreements.
You bring:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a procurement role, preferably in motorsport or manufacturing.
- Expertise: Solid understanding of technical drawings, manufacturing techniques, and supply chain dynamics.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Drive: A proactive approach to managing a dynamic order book and ensuring efficient operations.
- A proven track record in managing procurement processes under challenging deadlines.
- The ability to uphold high standards of professionalism, safety, and innovation.
