Store Supervisor required for a key engineering client based in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis.

As a store supervisor you would be on an attractive salary of £29K initially based on a probation of 6 months rising to £32K upon completion. Benefits include company pension, 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. Start date to be ASAP.

The lead function for the stores area, coordinating all aspects of the department in line with the key responsibilities and any other tasks as requested by the Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

·        Coordination of the logistics associated with deliveries and collections, ensuring the most cost effective approach is adopted (SBTUK vehicle, courier or haulage).

·        Maintenance and upkeep of the facility, ensuring a safe and well organized operation, working in association with the company H & S representative and Production Supervisor / Manager.

·        Stock accuracy with actions in place to routinely check stock locations during material picks, stock counts of high value items every 3 months with full stock counts every 6 months.
