A leading company involved in the design and development of aircraft are currently looking for a Senior Stress Engineer to join the business on an initial 6 months contract based from their facility in Bedfordshire.

The role will require candidates with strong stress background able to perform hand calculations using FEA tools to analyse structures and components across the renowned aerospace business.

Performing test evaluations and stress reports covering the whole design process you will be at the forefrontof the stress team as well as being in liaisons interdepartmentally and with suppliers and partners and customers.

Key Skills & Backgrounds

• - ANYSYS, Nastran, Patran, MathCAD, Visual Basic knowledge
• - Aircraft Structures/Mechanical Systems/Propulsion Systems background
• - Stress report background
• - FEA analysis and Hand Calculations
• - Degree or above in Engineering
