TXM Recruit are supporting the search for a Manufacturing Engineer to join an international manufacturer and supplier of high precision components and systems used within the defence, aviation and aerospace markets.

Despite the obvious challenges in 2020! the business is continuing to perform well and progress alongside continued demand from customers on large and high value projects. With ongoing focus on New Product Development and NPI, they are looking to welcome a Manufacturing Engineer to join an established Engineering team to focus on managing supplier processes and performance.

This position will be well suited to a Manufacturing Engineer / Production Engineer who has worked on supplier development and qualification processes to support new product introduction / NPI and has a background within a similar industry with components produced from high precision machining- milling & turning. Additional areas of experience will be the application of continuous improvement/ lean and kaizen to suppliers and the ability to run root cause analysis studies.

It will be a varied position, managing relationships with various suppliers and therefore in addition to technical aptitude will be a position that lends itself to a good communicator and someone who can demonstrate a previous track record in engaging and managing external relationships to create better solutions.
