A well respected High Wycombe based company are looking to recruit an mechanical biased assembly technician/ fitter to support their growing business demands. Various Shift patterns available. Pay-rates range from £8.50 to £12.00 per hour dependant on experience and shift pattern.

Responsibilities will include the assembly and installation of racking systems and auxiliary equipment in commercial vehicles. This could lead to further opportunities within the business.

The Mechanical fitter should be a hardworking, enthusiastic & conscientious individual who can work alone or as part of a team offering highly developed practical abilities including, but not limited to: mechanical engineering or joinery skill is preferred.

Previous experience within an installation / engineering / automotive industry could be advantageous.

The Mechanical insulation fitter would need to able to carry out –

• Pre-Assembly Work such as kit building

• Basic Installation Work in a vehicle

• Basic Vehicle Inspection

A good working knowledge and use of hand and power tools is essential. The successful candidate should be able to follow written kit building instructions and diagrams.

A current UK approved driving licence is required.

A successful Mechanical installation fitter will receive an excellent hourly rate and the opportunity of a permanent position after the initial 3-6 month contract.
