In 2005 Co-Founders Keiron Gallimore (TXM Group CEO) & Laurence Seward (TXM Group Chairman) set up TXM Recruit. Initially operating out of a small 16 square metre office space borrowed from RDS in Wolverton Mill. In 2005 TXM Recruit secured its first major account within its 2nd week of trading: Railcare.
Whilst Prime Minister Tony Blair announces he will step down, founding TXM Group members Gary Lincoln and Gavin Hanrahan join the TXM Group Executive board. With month on month contract and permanent revenue growth, TXM welcomes: Jenni Rudge, now TXM Group Payroll Manager, and ends the year on a high achieving sales of £3 Million in its first full year.
Steve Jobs takes to the stage launching the very first Iphone whilst TXM welcomes TXM Group board member and current MD of TXM Manpower Solutions Dubai: James Poulton to the TXM Family. TXM go on to achieve a major milestone; processing over 100 contractor timesheets in a single week.
TXM Recruit secured its 2nd major account win: MJ Quinns and go on to report a record week, doubling the previous record by processing over 200 individual worker timesheets in a single week. With full year sales having increased to more than £10.5 Million the TXM Recruit team moved into its own purpose built premises, which remains as TXM Recruit HQ, Walnut House.
Whilst Susan Boyle brought a nation to tears it was celebrations all round as TXM secures 3 further major accounts: Transport for London, Red Bull and Tesco, increasing sales to over £12 Million. On the back of this and with year on year growth TXM opened a 2nd office in Piccadilly, Central London.
A volcanic eruption in Iceland brings chaos to the aviation industry whilst TXM welcomes Andrew Midgley, now TXM Group MD, to the TXM Group Executive board and Steve Charter, now TXM Group Credit Control Manager to the growing leadership team. On the back of winning a major, multi-million dollar defence contract in the Middle East sales grew to over £30 Million, hitting a record high of 500 timesheets processed in a single week in November 2010.
Great Britain celebrates as Prince William marries Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey. TXM Welcomes Tiffany Lau, now TXM Group HR Manager, to the TXM family & reports another record year: doubling the previous record with over 1000 individual worker timesheets processed in a single week in June and a record £600,000 in permanent contract revenue achieved.
Its celebrations all around both for Team GB in the Olympics & Team TXM at the Global Recruiter Awards: winning “Best Innovation” for the Red Bull Technology Apprenticeship Programme and being ranked as the fastest growing independant engineering recruitment company in the UK. TXM welcomes Jon Bettell, now Group FD, to the TXM Group Executive board and both Brian Cook, Group IT Manager, and Adam Knight, now Divisional Manager for Built environment to the leadership team.
TXM welcomes Graham Eccles to the TXM Group Exectutive Board, Jason Robinson OBE as TXM Group Ambassador and Warren Barry as Divisional Manager for Rail, now Divisional Director for Rail. TXM Recruit is listed on the London Stock exchange's top 100 most inspiring companies to work for and achieves a record permanent contract month with over £100,000 in placements in January alone.
Another disappointing year for England football on the international stage, with Germany securing their first world cup win in 24 years. TXM however are making headlines once again: being listed in Recruiter International's TOP 250 recruitment companies in the UK and Adam Knight takes centre stage at the Investor in talent awards winning Most Inspiring New Comer!

Andy Murray wins Wimbledon, the Queen celebrates her 90th Birthday and TXM celebrates its 10 year anniversary in style: winning a record 3 awards with Xtra Milers Ben Grant and Adam Knight taking centre stage and winning the Most Inspiring Newcomer and most Inspiring Manager respectively and TXM being voted Best Engineering Recruitment company to work for. TXM welcomes Mo Jaffer to the TXM Recruit Board.
TXM Recruit launches its 5 year business plan "Project House" and starts with a bang, winning two major contracts which take the business to a record high: generating over £110,000 in contract margin in a single week. The year continues on a high as TXM welcomes James Wall, now TXM Recruit MD, Matt Crowe, Manufacturing Divisional Manager and Tracy Sinclair, L&D Manager to the team. Warren Barry, Divisional Director for Rail takes centre stage at the Recruiter Awards winning Most Inspiring Manager 2017.
Lewis Hamilton wins his 5th Formula One World Title and TXM Recruit are on track for another milestone year, achieving over 50% growth. With continued investment in more flexible office space, training and development; TXM Recruit welcomes Training Manager Shreena Gokani to the team, and new technology, including the launch of a new website, a new CRM system and an online timesheet portal.
